Raya and her friends plan revenge against their teacher at school, but Raya soon starts to feel uncertain about it. How can she decide for herself and stand up against the authority imposed on her?
 

Sepide Berenji is an Iranian scriptwriter, director and poet. She has received her BA in Persian literature and her MA in Cinema.

Her debut short film, Raya which is inspired by her experiences and observations as a teacher at a primary school, premiered at the 60th Zlín International Film Festival and has received international recognition since then at major festivals across the world.
