HENDI AND HORMOZ / Hendi va Hormoz

Thirteen-year-old Hendi is married off to sixteen-year-old Hormoz. The young couple hardly know each other and the doors of opportunity seem to be shut for them until they enter into an ominous pact with a smuggler to ensure their livelihood.

Crafted with a natural charm, this gripping film depicts the existential struggle of the young couple trying to find their way to one another as their lives seem perilously close to coming undone.
