Born in 1989, Mostafa Sayari studied psychology before he began working in the field of cinema. He started his career in film by writing and directing several shorts before he co-wrote and directed his first feature film, The Graveless.
The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, marking the rise of a young and genuine persona in Iranian cinematography.
